An eccentric orchestral conductor will lead you into the round and wobbly world of soap bubbles. In the course of an unexpected concert you will see strange instruments producing more than just music: soap bubbles will appear, more and more of them, ever larger and wobblier, until you will begin to imagine yourself totally surrounded by a soap bubble of gigantic proportions. The concerto for soap bubbles includes clowning, pantomime and music written for the little ones but which audience of all ages can enjoy.
Michele Cafaggi was born in 1973 and learned the art of clowning and miming from famous masters like Jango Edwards and Marcel Marceau. He has been performing for years as a street artist, also appearing in youth centres, rest homes, prisons and schools. He has taken part in leading theatre festivals in Italy and abroad, but also in fashion displays, in the Italian tour of Anime Salve by Fabrizio De André, in the Giro d'Italia caravan and before a nationwide audience in television programs like Paperissima. Under the name of Doctor Dream he appears in paediatric departments of those hospitals where the Theodora Foundation, a non-profit organisation, is active bringing smiles to sick children.
