lectures in Aesthetics at the University of Bologna and is a novelist and short-story writer. His fiction is marked by a taste for the paradoxical and affection for outsiders and eccentrics, through whom he engagingly demonstrates the visionary dimension of human nature. He has published three novels: Il poema dei lunatici (Torino 1987), Le tentazioni di Girolamo (Torino 1991) and Cirenaica (Torino1999). He is author of several literary divertissements (I sette cuori, Torino 1992), which include the genre of "unfaithful translation". He has published two collections: Vite brevi di idioti (Milano 1997) and Gli scrittori inutili (Milano 2002). He has recently published a natural history of giants. |
