This production, written by and starring Massimiliano Finazzer Flory, interprets the fantasy world of Borges in a striking combination of theatre, literature and music. Evocative sets, which allude to the key themes of the great Argentinian writer: chess, a symbol of the relationship between chance and destiny; a library full of books as metaphor of the endless quest for knowledge; and, above all, the mirror, which seduces us, but also deforms our perception of reality. The literary journey unfolds to the music of Astor Piazzola - which blends traditional tango with jazz influences and twelve-tone music - performed by the Quintetto Neofonia Ensemble (piano-accordion, violin, vibraphone, double-bass). And there will be the poetry and tales of the great Borges, the unsighted seer: Aleph, Funes the Memorious, Ragnarök, The Parable of the Palace, The Just, in an anthology which confirms itself to be the "fiction of fictions", and the words, like the mirrors, prove to be an inexhaustible and ironic multiplication of reality.
