An icon and a rising star of Italian jazz piano come together and celebrate their shared love for the melodies of standard and swing classics. A unique, never-to-be-repeated opportunity to hear in concert a living legend of world renown and an extraordinary young piano talent. The former 81 years old, the latter 16.

Renato Sellani, younger than ever, exhibits perhaps more than anybody else, with  elegance and aristocratic refinement, those qualities which have created this special moment in the fortunes of Italian jazz. His lyrical style, which draws inspiration from the great pianists of the past as well as showing an unrelenting quest for innovation, has achieved the balanced, unmistakable refinement which makes him one the leading figures on the European jazz scene.

Alessandro Lanzoni, from Florence, rising Italian piano star, has already recorded three albums, garnered numerous prizes and performed to enthusiastic audiences. He began playing at the age of 5, showing precocious talent, a creative disposition and a great natural gift for improvisation. He is currently studying classical repertoire and jazz piano, both of which he manages to combine with astonishing mastery and naturalness.
